Sarah Eggleston, PA-C
About me
Sarah has lived in central Illinois her entire life and has always appreciated the strong sense of community here. When looking for a job, Sarah said, "I couldn't imagine a better place to start my career."
Outside of work, Sarah recently got married and moved into her first home with her husband, starting a wonderful new chapter together!
When asked what influenced her decision to go into medicine and ultimately become a Physician Assistant, Sarah said," I've always been drawn to a career in medicine, but my biggest inspiration was my mom, who’s a nurse. She introduced me to the PA career path and I fell in love with the collaborative nature of the position."
Originally, she had an interest in pediatrics, but during her clinical rotations in PA school, she had the opportunity to work in ENT and said she immediately connected with the specialty. "I loved how hands-on the field is, and I was surprised by the wide variety of conditions and procedures you encounter day to day. It’s dynamic, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. Exactly what I was looking for in a career."
