If you would prefer to call or leave a message with our patient experience team, please call 217-545-8000 option 4. During business hours, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, ask for the patient experience team.
Email us
If you would like to email our patient experience team, please be aware that sending personal health information through unencrypted email poses some risk of that information being accessed by an unintended third party. Sending information to patientexperience@siumed.edu after this notification signifies receipt of warning and acceptance of the risk.

Championing Advocacy and Recognition in the Human Experience (CARE) Award recognizes SIU Medicine individuals or teams who go above and beyond to create exceptional, compassionate, and human-centered experiences for patients and patient representatives.
Nomination & Submission Guidelines
Eligibility:
- Open to all staff, clinicians and teams involved in patient care (direct or indirect).
- This includes staff, clinicians or leadership who impact patient experience.
