Throughout her surgical training, she has been involved with national advocacy for physicians and patients, especially with regards to increasing access to vaccinations that prevent head and neck cancers. When she isn't spending her time with her patients, she enjoys weekend brunches, listening to Taylor Swift, and cheering on her favorite teams including The Kansas City Chiefs and the Virginia Cavaliers.
