Breanne Larson, NP-C
About me
Bre Larson is a nurse practitioner in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at SIU School of Medicine. Born and raised in central Illinois, Bre’s passion for health care was sparked early in life when a close family member was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. That personal experience shaped her lifelong commitment to patient care.
With more than 20 years in the medical field, Bre has built deep experience across specialties including neurology, surgery, urgent care and orthopedics. She now focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions and works closely with SIU’s ENT surgeons to provide integrated, team-based care.
"With training across multiple disciplines, I chose ENT because it uniquely blends medicine and surgery while allowing me to make an immediate, meaningful impact on patients’ quality of life, helping them breathe, hear, speak, and sleep better every day," she adds, "the best care starts with listening."
While managing a full clinical schedule as a nurse practitioner, Bre recently advanced her education even further, earning her Master's of Business Administration. She balances her professional achievements with her most important role, being a proud and active mom to her son, who keeps her busy with sporting events.
Bre sees patients at our main Springfield location as well as in Lincoln.
