Erin Hascup discusses recent investiture, Alzheimer's research

Smith Alzheimer's Center director Erin Hascup, PhD, joined WMAY's Jim Leach to discuss her recent investiture, current research at the Smith Alzheimer's Center, as well as the state of research in the world of Alzheimer's and related disorders. 

Dr. Hascup was recently named the Kenneth Stark Endowed Chair in Alzheimer's Research at SIU School of Medicine. An endowed chair represents one of the highest achievements in academic medicine, both for the person for whom the chair is named and also for the person who holds the chair.
