Male stress urinary incontinence is characterized by leakage during activities that increase abdominal pressure, such as coughing, sneezing, laughing or lifting. The condition is commonly associated with prostate cancer treatment and can significantly affect quality of life. While non-surgical therapies may help, many men require procedural or surgical intervention to restore continence.

“Being designated as an AMS 800™ Center of Excellence is an important recognition for our practice and a reflection of our commitment to restoring quality of life for men living with incontinence,” Monn said. “An analysis published in The Journal of Urology found that about 1 in 10 men in the US experience urinary incontinence, with prevalence increasing among men over 60.”

In addition to male incontinence, Monn specializes in advanced treatment for erectile dysfunction, including penile prosthesis surgery. Her combined expertise in ED and SUI allows her to manage complex cases using a comprehensive, patient-centered approach.

“Men living with incontinence or erectile dysfunction often feel isolated, but effective solutions exist,” Monn said. “This designation highlights our commitment to providing advanced, compassionate care and connecting patients with treatments that can make a meaningful difference in daily life.”
