About me
Anita Schwab, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC is a board certified Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience. She has practiced in primary care, acute care, long-term care, and specialty clinics. Anita has a special interest in nephrology, preventative medicine, and optimizing long-term clinical outcomes. She is very approachable and likes to collaborate with other providers in order to obtain high-quality, coordinated care for her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys life as a wife and mother of 3 wonderful kids, spending time with them and her animals on the farm, and staying involved in their busy schedules and activities.
"I grew up on a small farm in Central Illinois and have been a nurse for 20 years; 12 of those years have been as a working as a nurse practitioner. I love spending time with my husband and 3 children, being outdoors, and having pets. I have experience in cardiology, hematology/oncology, long term acute care, interventional radiology as well as integrative medicine."
