    About me

    Dr. Samuel A. Grampsas is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery in Urology at SIU Medicine. In 2019 he became full time faculty at SIU after serving as clinical faculty since 2007. He specializes in female urology and provides his patients with comprehensive evaluation and treatment of simple and complex urologic conditions. This includes urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, UTIs, Pelvic pain, urinary dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse and problems affecting female sexual health. He offers the latest therapies including Botox injections, neurostimulation, urodynamics, biofeedback, and pelvic organ prolapse reconstruction.

    Dr. Grampsas earned his medical degree and completed a Urology residency at the University of Colorado Medical School in Denver, Colorado. He is a fellow of The American College of Surgeons and is board certified in Urology by the American Board of Urology. Prior to joining SIU Medicine, Dr. Grampsas was affiliated with OSF in Peoria/Bloomington/Normal and he has taught SIU Urology residents for over 10 years.
