    About me

    Rex Wyatt (they/them/theirs) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. They are passionate about providing high-quality and inclusive care to patients who have experienced trauma, those with marginalized gender and/or sexual identities (LGBTQIA+) and those curious about exploring therapy but are unsure where to begin. Rex is guided by empathy and compassion. 

    They seek to provide genuine support, build therapeutic relationships, and provide validation to patients. They use therapy modalities including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care.

    Rex has experience working with clients with complex diagnoses and unique healthcare needs in varying capacities including community settings and inpatient psychiatric units.
    They are committed to anti-racist practices, racial healing within communities, and advocacy work. They are LGBQ+ affirming as well as gender-affirming and supportive of transgender and non-binary identities.
