Rami Elmasry
About me
Dr. Elmasry is from a family of six. He was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Elmasry double-majored in Integrative Biology and Psychology. He trained in various healthcare positions, including pharmacy technician, massage therapy, and pursued a career in chiropractic medicine with acupuncture. However, family medicine was Dr. Elmasry's ultimate calling. He chose to complete his residency at SIU School of Medicine - Decatur as it offered a community-driven, full scope, and comprehensive training with supportive faculty and staff.
Aside from medicine, Dr. Elmasry enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family, including his cat, Lola.
