Crosby appointed Chair of Otolaryngology at SIU Medicine

SPRINGFIELD, IL – Dana Crosby, MD, MPH, has been named chair of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She is also the director of rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery, director of otolaryngic allergy and is also the otolaryngology residency program director. The department provides care focused on ears, nose and throat (ENT), with eight subspecialty/fellowship-trained ENT surgeons offering specialized treatments for patients. Crosby now hopes to expand specialty offerings to make SIU Medicine the destination for all

The purpose of this research study is to assess the impact of the BSC penile prostheses devices on quality of life in men with erectile dysfunction through the use of questionnaires.  The study is an observation of your medical condition for a period of time after the initial implant of the device.

Sibling Play Lab

The Play Lab is led by Lisabeth DiLalla, PhD, a developmental psychologist at the SIU School of Medicine, and is home of the Southern Illinois Twins, Triplets and Siblings Study (SITSS). The lab focuses on preschoolers and the development of peer interactions and parent-child interactions from early childhood through adolescence.There are several research projects underway at the Lab. The SITSS primarily focuses on preschoolers, with various projects encompassing the development of peer interactions and parent-child interactions from preschool through adolescence.
