KO-MEN-008: Phase 1 Study to Determine the Safety and Tolerability of Ziftomenib Combinations for the Treatment of KMT2A-rearranged or NPM1-mutant Relapsed/Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Examining the safety, tolerability, and effectiveness of investigational drug ziftomenib in combination with standard of care treatments for patients with relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia. The study drug will be examined with the following agents: FLAG-IDA, low-dose cytarabine, and gilteritinib.

Colorectal screening kits giveaway

Simmons Cancer Institute at SIU Medicine is distributing no-cost colorectal cancer screening kits that area residents can use in the privacy of their homes. A drive-thru give-away will be held on Wednesday, March 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the lunchtime crowd, and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the evening crowd. Participants can pull into the circle drive located at 315 West Carpenter Street and remain in their vehicle while a kit is brought to them. Each person is allowed one kit and the kit's return shipping will be sponsored so there's no cost to the patient. Kits must be returned within 10 days
