About me
Hilary Lawton is a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for trauma-informed care, whole-person wellness and accessible mental health services. At SIU Medicine’s Internal Medicine clinic, she supports patients with both physical and emotional health needs.
Hilary has worked in a variety of community, hospital and crisis settings. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, substance use disorders and mind-body interventions. She values collaborative, compassionate care and is committed to reducing stigma around mental health.
Outside of work, Hilary enjoys reading with her book club, going to yoga, hunting for vintage treasures and spending time with her husband and two young sons.
