Dawn DeFraties is the Founder and Executive Director of the Office of Correctional Medicine at SIU School of Medicine. She is a Certified Correctional Health Professional with the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, a 2024 Dr. Kenniebrew Trailblazer award winner and a fierce advocate for quality healthcare.
Those participating in this activity will be able to:
- Define and gain insight into power differentials.
- Recognize the difference between personal power and role power.
- Identify the connection between power differential and ethics.
- Describe the value of power differentials.
