Dawn DeFraties is the Founder and Executive Director of the Office of Correctional Medicine at SIU School of Medicine. She is a Certified Correctional Health Professional with the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, a 2024 Dr. Kenniebrew Trailblazer award winner and a fierce advocate for quality healthcare.
