When I am not working the thing I love most is spending time with my family. I am the oldest of five children, and I have two sons of my own. I also enjoy painting pet portraits, playing piano, hiking, and love country music.

I chose SIU because when I did an audition rotation here I felt extremely welcomed by the residents and faculty. I also knew I wanted to be at an unopposed program, and I felt like SIU Quincy was the perfect location for me to get the type of training I want close to where I grew up.
