Delaney Rawson, MD, MPH
About me
Delaney Rawson (she/her), MD, MPH is an assistant professor of internal medicine at SIU school of medicine, specializing in LGBTQ+ Healthcare. She earned her medical degree at UT San Antonio where she was awarded the Hollan Award in Medicine from the internal medicine department and was a member of both Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Society. She concurrently received her masters in public health from UT Houston and received a national Excellence in Public Health Award from the US Public Health Service for her work in opioid overdose prevention. She completed her internal medicine residency at Yale Primary Care in the Clinician Educator Distinction Track and received the Rosenbaum Primary Care Resident award. She went on to complete a fellowship in LGBTQ+ Healthcare at UCLA.
Her clinical and research interests include gender affirming care, HIV prevention, and LGBTQ+ primary care.
