I chose SIU because the program provides a wide range of pathology from patients spanning across a large patient catchment area across southern Illinois, western Indiana, and eastern Iowa. While interacting with the residents and faculty during my interview, I found them to be friendly and welcoming, and knew I could make Springfield my new home.
