Vascular Surgery

    Overview

Vascular surgery is a specialty in which diseases of the vascular system, or arteries and veins, are managed by medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter procedures, and surgical reconstruction. It includes the sub-specialty, Endovascular Surgery, a less invasive procedure used in the treatment of certain conditions, such as aneurysm, that exist within blood vessels.
