New payment plan option offers patients flexibility

Published Date:

Managing medical bills can feel overwhelming. SIU Medicine now offers a new payment plan option to make that process easier.

SIU Medicine partnered with AccessOne to give eligible patients the option to spread payments over time in a way that fits their budget. Patients choose whether to enroll. The program focuses on flexibility, transparency, and ease of use.

AccessOne charges no enrollment fees and no interest, and it does not check or report credit. Enrollment does not affect a patient’s care.

Patients who qualify may receive a text, email, letter or phone call from AccessOne explaining the option. Patients can enroll online, by phone or through an automated system available 24 hours a day. After enrollment, patients can manage payments, set up autopay, and view statements through a secure online portal.

This option gives patients more control and peace of mind as medical expenses add up.

Patients with questions can visit myaccessone.com or call 888-458-6272 to reach AccessOne’s Patient Advocacy Center. For questions about care or insurance, SIU Medicine’s Patient Business Services team remains available to help.
