    About me

    James “JD” Daniels is a professor of family and community medicine and orthopedic surgery. After 27 years with SIU, he stepped down as Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship in Quincy and Assistant Dean of Students at Carbondale Campus. He now is the Medical Director of the Adams and Pike County Health Departments in west central Illinois. He also assists other faculty in teaching MSK and Preventive medicine at all of the SIU sites. He enjoys being with his family, soccer, and being a Quincy University fan.
