Trauma Center
The Southern Illinois Trauma Center is the first Level 1 trauma center in the region, allowing us to provide complex urgent and emergency care for the residents of 18 area counties.
SIU Medicine providers have partnered with Springfield Memorial Hospital and local emergency medical services to provide the expert and efficient care you or your loved ones deserve during your most vulnerable times of need. Our medical providers are highly skilled and trained in the diagnosis and emergency treatment of a variety of acute illnesses and injuries.
