Foot Ulcers and Infections

    Overview

Foot ulcers and infections are common among people with diabetes, but can occur to anyone. Pain is the most common symptom, but they can also go unnoticed for some time. Treatment includes cleaning and disinfecting of the wound area, removal of all dead tissue from the area, and rest.
