COVID-19 Test to Treat Clinic
Patients who test positive for COVID-19 may be eligible for treatment through the SIU COVID-19 Test to Treat Clinic.
Overview
Patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 with a home-based or clinic-based test (PCR or antigen test) can call 217-545-5100 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and speak with a qualified nurse or have their message returned within 24 hours.
Patients are screened based on symptoms, pre-existing conditions, allergies and medication interactions to see if they are eligible to receive Paxlovid, an anti-viral medication. If eligible, it will be prescribed and can be picked up from the closest pharmacy that carries it. Patients will also receive counseling on further steps and connected with a provider if needed.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last five days, please call 217-545-5100.
