About me
Tosha Donnals is a Family Nurse Practitioner at SIU School of Medicine's Neuroscience Institute. She will be working with stroke patients at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Tosha graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Millikin University in 2015 and started working as a registered nurse in the ICU setting. In 2016.
Tosha retired from the military with over 20 years of service, including a deployment to Afghanistan. Shortly after her military retirement, she returned to school in 2017 while continuing to work in the ICU. COVID-19 hit during this time and became a challenge in all areas. Tosha graduated with honors in May of 2021. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a certificate in Sleep Health Studies. She was awarded the UIC College of Nursing Class of 2021 Cardew-Mullane Award in Clinical Excellence and Leadership. Tosha is board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center. She will be working primarily with stroke patients at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Tosha lives in her hometown of Arthur and has 2 sons. Her youngest son is still in high school and her oldest son is in college and the military. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling when they have time to get together.
