    About me

    Dr. Edmonds is a licensed and certified Audiologist at the Hearing and Balance Center at SIU School of Medicine. She has been employed at SIU since 2005. Dr. Edmonds graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and completed her Master’s degree in Audiology from Illinois State University. She received her Doctorate in Audiology degree from The University of Florida. Upon graduation, she completed a clinical fellowship year with Mid America Audiology Group in Alton, Illinois.

    After obtaining national certification in Audiology, Dr. Edmonds worked for ENTA Allergy, Head and Neck Institute in Decatur.

    Dr. Edmonds is licensed to practice Audiology by the State of Illinois, and is certified by the American Academy of Audiology, and the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is also a member of the Illinois Academy of Audiology.

    Dr. Edmonds provides a full range of Audiology services including hearing aid evaluations, fittings of a variety of styles and types of hearing aids, vestibular evaluations, vestibular rehabilitation therapy, and diagnostic services. She enjoys the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, and welcomes the challenges that her job provides each day.
