Women's Power Lunch Against Cancer
The Women’s Power Lunch Against Cancer, benefiting cancer research at Southern Illinois University Medicine’s Simmons Cancer Institute, is a remarkable opportunity to combine our efforts in the fight against cancer.
Funds raised at this inspirational event are invested in all cancer research at SCI.
Motivational Humorist and Author, Kay Frances, MBA shares her message to “lighten up, stress less and take care of ourselves.” In this frenzied world we need to be reminded of the importance of managing our stress, keeping our sense of humor and taking care of our health.
When it comes to humor, Kay is the “real deal” having performed as a professional standup comedian for many years and appearing on a number of television and radio programs including Lifetime’s Girls Night Out and NBC’s America’s Funniest People. She also lived and performed in New York City where she appeared at top comedy clubs such as “The Improvisation” and “Catch a Rising Star” alongside Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, Sarah Silverman and many others!
