    About me

    Hometown: Chatham, IL
Academic interests: Prehospital medicine, Disaster preparedness, Physician field response
What you enjoy most about the program: Though I am obviously biased, I feel that our disaster planning/mass casualty incident management curriculum is one of the most educational and entertaining aspects of our residents' training. Every year residents are presented with new and exciting challenges in different large scale simulations allowing them to train and prepare for any number of high stress events.
Favorite things to do in Springfield: My colleagues give me a hard time about how much I like to eat out (who has time to cook?!), but with so many good options I feel like I should get a pass. Some personal recommendations: Best Tacos - The Taco Joint, Best Thai - Mekong Cafe, Best Pizza - Gabatoni's, Best Italian - Saputo's, Best Steak - Vele, Best Cocktails - Curate, Best Dessert - Bunn Gourmet, Best Horseshoe - Darcy's Pint. Come here and try them all! Don't @ me.
