Dr. Pele Dina completed his doctor of medicine at University of Balamand, in Balamand, Lebanon. He then went on to complete residencies at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center, in Beirut, Lebanon; and at St. John's Children's Hospital, in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Dina completed his fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Ronald McDonald's Children's Hospital, in Maywood, Illinois. He has worked on research regarding the analgesic effect of breast milk compared to oral sucrose solution on preterm neonates undergoing minor painful procedures; and  what makes us evaluate infants for sepsis in the NICU.
