Urogynecology

    Overview

Urogynecology is a surgical sub-specialty combining the specialties of urology and gynecology. It is a specialty that treats female urinary incontinence and pelvic floor problems, which are common and treatable problems among post-menopausal women.

The urogynecology division at SIU Medicine provides expert services to women with pelvic floor disorders such as organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence and the full spectrum of pelvic floor disorders. We have a multidisciplinary team of caregivers including urology, physical therapy, gastroenterology, colorectal surgery, and radiology all working together to offer the best care possible.
