    Overview

    Genetic syndromes, or disorders, refer to characteristics within an individual's genetic code that increase the likelihood for certain diseases and conditions. Such syndromes include Crohn's Disease, Down syndrome, hemophilia, Huntington's disease, porphyria, and sickle cell disease.
