    About me

    Dr. Julie Fleischer is an assistant professor in clinical pediatrics at SIU School of Medicine specializing in genetics.  She received her medical degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA and completed a pediatric residency at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  She practiced general pediatrics for 12 years before seeking additional training in genetics to provide more in depth care for children with genetic diseases. She completed her clinical genetics fellowship at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Dr Fleischer is board certified in pediatrics, and has special interest in developmental delays, autism, connective tissue disorders, metabolic disorders and complex genetic disorders.
